The members of Swing Speak would like to thank the 2006 - 2007 Washington Area Music Association (WAMA) for honoring us with a win in the category "Best Swing Group" and also for nominating us in the category "Best Jazz Group" and "Musician of the Year" for our drummer, Barry Hart. Congratulations also to guitarist, Dave Chappell, now a member of Swing Speak, who for the second time was honored with "Musician of the Year."
